Job description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement project objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for medium to large-scale projects of moderate complexity.
  • Oversee project lifecycle, including creation, task allocation, resource assignment, activity tracking, and timesheet management.
  • Develop statements of work (SOW) and ensure project deliverables align with contractual requirements.
  • Evaluate changes in project scope and recommend actionable steps; ensure proper stakeholder alignment and approval.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members to ensure clarity on responsibilities, deadlines, and objectives.
  • Manage project costs, timelines, and quality benchmarks; monitor deliverables and initiate revisions as needed.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments, identify potential project risks, and implement mitigation plans for scope, cost, time, and quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate with technical managers and team members to gather project status updates, address roadblocks, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support team members in managing workload and improving productivity by recognizing stress points and reallocating resources accordingly.
  • Coordinate and resolve scheduling conflicts related to planned time off; ensure minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Organize and promote cross-training initiatives to enhance team skill sets; facilitate knowledge sharing through scheduled presentations and feedback.
  • Assist team members in documenting and presenting their learning outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and senior leadership to facilitate smooth communication and expectation management.
  • Foster a positive work environment through personnel management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain a robust communication framework via a Team Member Communication Center.
  • Conduct performance reviews and align individual outputs with project goals and organizational expectations.
  • Conduct a PIP program for employees.
  • Preparing employee scorecards and assessing the employees’ performance.

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Effective presentation skills and proficient in demonstrating product features and usage.
  • Quick thinker and reliable team player, capable of responding well under pressure.
  • Brings positive energy to the team, contributing to a collaborative and motivating work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office Word).
  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus
